This Cookie Policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used on raynlabs.io, why we use them, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Cookies let a website remember actions or preferences across sessions. Similar technologies (such as browser local storage and session storage) work similarly. For brevity, this policy refers to all of these as "cookies."
2. What we use, and why

These are strictly necessary for the Service to function. Disabling them will prevent you from signing in or using core features. Because they are strictly necessary, they are set without prior consent, as permitted by EU cookie law.
2.2 Campaign and advertising-attribution cookies
If you arrive at raynlabs.io from an ad or a campaign link, our server sets a few first-party
cookies so we can tell which campaigns bring people who go on to sign up. A campaign link is
one that carries campaign tags (utm_source, utm_campaign and similar)
or a Reddit ad identifier (rdt_cid). If you later create an account, we can report
to Reddit that its ad resulted in a signup, which tells us whether ad spend on Reddit is
working. These cookies are used for nothing else.
If you're in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, we ask first. None of the cookies in this section are set, and the Reddit pixel doesn't load, until you choose Allow in the cookie banner. Elsewhere they are set on arrival from a campaign link. Anyone can refuse or withdraw at any time under Cookie settings, which deletes them.

These are only set when the landing URL carries campaign tags or a Reddit ad identifier. Visitors who arrive any other way get none of them. When you verify your email at signup, our servers also send a single anonymised "signup" event to Reddit's Conversions API. The Privacy Policy §1.4 lists the exact fields shared.
2.3 Visit statistics without cookies
We count page views on our own servers, without cookies and without storing your IP address. Unique visits are counted with a code that changes every day and can't be traced back to you. The Privacy Policy §1.4 lists what is recorded.
A small script on this site adds time on page, scroll depth, page speed, clicks on key buttons and errors. It sets no cookies, and it follows the same consent rule as §2.2: in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland it only runs after you choose Allow.
2.4 Third-party bot protection
Account creation and sensitive actions use Cloudflare Turnstile, a CAPTCHA-free bot-detection service that may set technical cookies for challenge purposes. Turnstile is provided by Cloudflare under its own terms and privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
2.5 What we do NOT use
- Cross-site tracking or retargeting cookies
- Third-party analytics SDKs (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.)
- Session-replay or behavioral-profiling tools
- Social-media share-button trackers
- Advertising cookies for any network other than Reddit ad-click attribution as described in §2.2
